Implementing the resource supports a number of SDG targets, including 1.4 (access, ownership and control over land and other forms of property, including inheritance), 9.1 (sustainable infrastructure), 10.2 (promoting universal social, economic and political inclusion of all), 10.3 (eliminating discriminatory policies and practices) and 11.4 (strengthening efforts to protect and safeguard cultural and natural heritage), 16.3 (return of stolen property), 16.4 (promote Rule of Law), 16.6 (effective, accountable, transparent institutions), 16.7 (inclusive decision making), 16.10 (protect fundamental freedoms), 16.B (promote laws and policies for sustainable development), 17.14 (policy coherence), 17.16 (international) and 17.17 (and cross-sector partnerships). Ensuring proper title and collecting of natural heritage can support SDGs 15.7 and 15.C to combat illegal wildlife trafficking.
