“A team of researchers carried out a study between October 2007 and January 2008 to investigate and record the oral traditions and related indigenous knowledge of three minority groups in Kenya – the Suba, Yaaku and Segeju… More important, this activity has developed a draft format for inventorying intangible cultural heritage in Kenya… Therefore, this report provides the outcome of the survey and lays the foundation for a more comprehensive research and documentation of intangible cultural heritage in Kenya.
