SDGs LINKAGES
The resource can be used to support action in support of a number of SDG targets, including:
4.4 (skills for work), 4.7 (Education for Sustainable Development), 12.8 (knowledge for sustainable development and lifestyles in harmony with nature) and 13.3 (education and awareness for climate action), through support for staff skills.
The focus on integrating the SDGs supports, in particular, SDGs 12.6, 16.6 (effective, accountable and transparent institutions), 16.B (policies for sustainable development) and 17.14 (policy coherence).
The focus on ‘leave no-one behind’ supports SDGs 1.4 (access to property and services), 4.5 (inclusive education), 4.A (inclusive learning environment), 9.1 (sustainable and inclusive infrastructure), 11.7 (inclusive green and public spaces), 5.1 (eliminate discrimination against women and girls), 5.C (adopt policies for gender equality), 10.2 (universal inclusion), 10.3 (eliminating discriminatory policies) and 10.4 (adopting inclusive policies), 11.3 (inclusive community development) and 16.7 (inclusive decision-making).
