“Several leading children's museums have begun employing green practices in their operations, expansion projects, and exhibit environments. Others have adopted sustainability as a major institutional value, and have begun employing architects and builders to design green buildings that can serve as teaching tools themselves. While the field of green design is rapidly expanding with many new resources on sustainable building, this is one of few sites that focuses solely on nontoxic museum exhibits and environments for children.” (Begin)
