Coherence for Sustainable Development
“Policy coherence for sustainable development (PCSD) is an integral part of the means of implementation for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)… This Coherence for Sustainable Development (CODE) report draws on the lessons learnt from the assessments by the DAC peer reviews on PCD, as well as on the guidance provided by the OECD Framework for Policy Coherence for Sustainable Development (the PCSD Framework), to highlight elements that need to be monitored in the context of the 2030 Agenda, such as institutional mechanisms, policy interactions and policy effects. It explores different types of qualitative and quantitative indicators, many available at the OECD, which could be used by countries – according to their own needs and specific circumstances – to assess key elements of the policy coherence cycle.”
