SDGs LINKAGES
The focus of the resource is SDG 8.9 (promote beneficial and sustainable tourism). That has a wide range of positive benefits that support other SDGs and targets, notably SDGs 11.3, 16.6 and 17.14, 17.16 and 17.17 (in terms of inclusion and effective decision making and institutions); SDGs 2.3, 11.B, 12.B and 17.19; 8.1, 8.3, 8.4, 8.5, 8.7, 8.8 and 9.2 in terms of economic value added and fair employment, and training supports SDG 4.4; poverty-reduction supports 1.1, 1.2, 1.B and 10.1.
