Vínculos a los ODS
The resource is most closely linked to SDG 12.6 (adopt sustainable practices and reporting), which helps support a number of targets around the sustainable use of natural resources (SDG 12.2), preventing water pollution (SDG 6.3), reducing the environmental impact of cities (SDG 11.6), managing chemicals and wastes (SDG 12.4), reducing waste generation (SDG 12.5) and SDG 12.7 (sustainable procurement), and SDG 13.3 (contributing to climate action). The checklist can be applied to new developments, supporting SDG 9.1, and to existing exhibits to retrofit them, supporting SDG 9.4. Adopting renewable energy supports SDG 7.2, and enhancing energy efficiency supports SDG 7.3. In addition, considerations of employment contributes towards SDGs 8.3 (favouring small, local suppliers), 8.4 (fostering the circular economy), 8.5 (decent work for all), 8.7 (eradicate modern slavery) and 8.8 (protect employee rights). Providing effective and welcoming learning and cultural environments supports SDGs 4.A (safe and welcoming learning environments) and 11.7 (safe and welcoming green and public spaces). Promoting universal social inclusion in both design teams and in inclusive design also supports SDG 10.2 (universal social, economic and political inclusion).
